We aim to strengthen Māori expression of culture and creativity, develop the ways we think about the development of our art forms, and create new pathways for learning, identity, and creativity through art and design.

We are focussed on translating Māori visual language, symbolism, and creative whakaaro into contemporary Māori creative practice, bringing Māori concepts and creative thinking systems into the forefront of our work.
This includes artistic, educational and professional service offerings such as:
Toi Māori and visual storytelling
Educational and cultural resource design

The mind behind Ohia - I am an expressly Māori graphic designer, striving to build meaningful connections through
visual arts, digital media, and design. Working from Te Araroa on the East Coast of Aotearoa in Te Tairāwhiti, I enjoy exploring new methods of visual storytelling, drawing deep inspiration from traditional māori art forms and ngā pūkorero o Te Tairāwhiti.
My love for any and all forms of art and creativity drive my work, drawing me into a wide range of professional and personal creative projects.
